24/7 Emergency Plumber - Brisbane & Redlands

Plumbing emergencies don't happen on schedule. A burst pipe at midnight, a sewage backup on a Sunday morning, or a hot water failure the day before guests arrive, when something goes wrong, you need a plumber you can actually reach. Copperflow provides genuine 24/7 emergency plumbing across Brisbane and the Redlands, with fast response times and the equipment on hand to deal with the problem properly, not just temporarily.

What We Attend To

  • Burst or split pipes
  • Major leaks inside or under the property
  • Overflowing or blocked toilets with sewage backup
  • Complete hot water system failures
  • Gas leaks (evacuate and contact your gas provider first, then we attend for repairs)
  • Flooding from plumbing failures
  • Storm damage to roof plumbing and gutters
  • Water hammer causing pipe damage
  • Loss of water supply to the property

What To Do While You Wait

In most plumbing emergencies, the first thing to do is isolate the water supply. Your main stop tap is usually located at the front of the property near the water meter. Turning this off will stop water flowing and limit damage while we're on the way.

For a gas emergency, if you smell gas, don't touch switches, don't use your phone inside the building, and evacuate immediately. Call your gas provider's emergency line first, then call us. See our Gas Fitting page for more on gas safety.

Fast Response, Proper Repairs

Some emergency plumbers show up, do the minimum to stop the immediate problem, and leave you to book a follow-up for everything else. That's not how we work. When Copperflow attends an emergency, we carry the tools and materials to make proper repairs on the spot wherever possible, so you're not left with a temporary fix that fails again in a week.

Why Choose Copperflow

When you're dealing with water pouring through your ceiling at 2am, you don't want to be navigating a call centre. Copperflow is a local, owner-operated business. When you call, you're talking to David directly. No hold music, no dispatch queue, no uncertainty about who's actually coming.

Areas We Service

We provide 24/7 emergency response across Cleveland, Victoria Point, Redland Bay, Thornlands, Wellington Point, Ormiston, Birkdale, Capalaba, Alexandra Hills, Mount Cotton and Sheldon, plus Brisbane's bayside and eastern suburbs including Wynnum, Manly, Carindale, Belmont, Chandler, Cannon Hill, Carina, Morningside, Tingalpa, Norman Park, East Brisbane, Yeronga, Mount Gravatt and Salisbury.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you get to me in an emergency?

Response times vary depending on location and time of day, but we prioritise emergency callouts above all else. When you call, we'll give you an honest ETA straight away.

Is there an after-hours surcharge?

After-hours and emergency callouts do carry a different rate to standard business hours work, this is standard across the industry. We'll be upfront about pricing when you call so there are no surprises on the invoice.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

If water or sewage is actively causing damage to your property, your hot water has completely failed, or you have no water supply, that's an emergency. If it's urgent but not actively causing damage, we'll often be able to fit you in same day or first thing the following morning.

Should I try to fix it myself while waiting?

Turning off the water at the main stop tap is safe and smart. Beyond that, leave it to us. DIY repairs on pressurised pipes or drainage under stress can make things worse and create additional damage or safety hazards.

What if I'm not sure whether it's an emergency?

Call us anyway on 0449 202 599. We'd rather answer a call that turns out to be non-urgent than have you dealing with a worsening situation alone.
